30 something, mom of 3, w/ 2 step kids, thats 5 all together, and 1 grandson, dare I say that out loud, common law wife, and finally workaholic, very blah
Frozen breaded fish fillets of your liking Coleslaw mix (no dressing needed) Flour or corn tortillas (I like flour, taco size) Picante sauce Lime Lime-Cilantro Crema
First cook your Fish as package recommends. then the ingredients for the Crema
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro 3 tbsp mayo 3 tbsp sour cream 1 tsp grated lime rind 1 1/2 tsp fresh lime juice 1/4 tsp salt 1 garlic clove minced
combine all these ingredients and set a side.
I cut the fish long ways for better building technique but if you find a better way let me know. Warm tortillas any way you like. place some Picante sauce on tortillas and place fish on top. Next add slaw. then I like to add just a bit more lime juice. Or you can skip if you want but why its yummy!!!! Next drizzle Crema on top. Get yourself a stack of napkins and a frosty beverage and you are on. From freezer to table in 30 mins. Cant beat that. If you dont like fish tacos, Im sorry your missing out. This has been the best Crema I have had homemade at least. Love to hear feed back if you try it. Good luck! OLE!
